(There are only two people over there I communicate with and we both talk kidshit, all the time. One happens to be local.)

Most email clients allow for you to block senders. You could always do that and they will bounce back to him so HE will to have to delete them once his undelivered "notifications" build up. It's really easy to do.
It would be like taking the return envelope included in most junk mail, stuffing it full of all their junk and re-posting.
