Lighter won't work. Go to an antique dealer and buy a railroad spike, lay it on your stove until it starts to change color. Don't touch it with your hands, because, it will be intense. Use a pair of pliers and carefully place it into the affected area. You don't have to worry about losing it, because a railroad spike has a large head on it and it will only go so far in. Leave it there until all the hemorrhoids are scared away. It could take more than one treatment, but if you take advantage of the fact that the spike has four sharp edges and rotate it, after you insert it, it could get them all with one application.
