If I knew exactly how much elementary school was pointless I would have acted up more.  (I was suspended practically every other week)

during my childhood, time always seemed to pass so slowly... now it seems to rush past... :P i read somewhere that your perception of time depends on your experience (how much time you've lived) or something

The patience actually decreases with age. Older people get more intolerant.

I just blame people in general- at least when I was a kid I didn't have to deal with other people over-reacting to everything cos they've got a stick up their ass.
