Yes, replace the 79% of the atmosphere that is currently nitrogen with Nitrous Oxide.What could possibly go wrong? Smoking, lightning, warfare and even cooking would need to be outlawed completely. As would electricity.

As would electricity.I think it decomposes at 296.111 degrees c which is why it is a good fuel oxidiser. it doesn't decompose at room temperature.
At the end of the compression the fuel is forced into the cylinder under high pressure. The temperature is so hot that the fuel burns as soon as it has mixed into the air. When the burns, the temperature inside the cylinder reaches about 25000C and the pressure is about 100 atmospheres (10 MPa).
