Wrong Planet seems to have been hacked

I just tried going there, and it displayed a server login popup and started playing an audio message (sounded like a text to speech program) saying that my computer was transmitting my Facebook login and bank details or some shit. I had to close Firefox via the task manager. The audio message was probably bullshit (I hope), but I'm running a full scan on Defender anyway.

Think it is I2 of old? Even Odeon is not so delusional as to think otherwise. He may on occasionally pretend otherwise but his base is that knitting circle.

It's not the first time I've seen something like that there, but it's the first time I've heard it play audio. I had NoScript on my old computer, though. I wonder if it's a frequent occurrence. I don't go to WP very often.

That sounds like the typical spyware/adware that WP has always been infected with.

With 2x4 basically gone from the site, I imagine the site needs some major league cleaning up.

The last few times trying to read there, anti-virus blocked attacks. It's been avoided for a while.

The only thing that came up in the Defender scan was a file in Firefox's temp folder that it couldn't identify and wanted to send to MS for analysis. Malwarebytes found nothing. I've cleared all cookies and temp files in Firefox and reset all my passwords, and my Facebook and Bank account show no sign of any untoward activity other than my own.

Just tried going there on my Kindle. All I got was a blank page. Definitely something going wrong there.

Yesterday I was getting pop-ups saying "Rats! Web GL just hit a snag. Learn more."

"Reload" "Ignore"
It was a very annoying pop-up.
