When I first saw the request, it was like a giant firework had exploded in my calm night sky. A bright flash, so bright that it lit up smoke trails from previous bursts.
Then a delayed but loud thunder-like bang as darkness returned. The trailing sparks drifting to the ground, bright then slowly dimming as they fell, like the thousands of fractured thoughts filling my head, too many to see at once, yet all part of the same picture.
The chaos of the moment slowly fades. Rational thought can now return to its proper abode. Uneasy anticipation of the next raport lingers, like the ringing in one's ears.
To me, the ability for rational thought to stay in place, and continue to function in the midst of chaos of mental fireworks, is sanity. It is what I seek." DriftingBlizzard 01142007.
BTW, even though I didn't respond to each entry, I read and appreciated EVERYONE's comments. I have a mental block when it comes to replying to each one, every time.
