I'd like to suggest:
A) a list of Brits  in the OP (updated as necessary)  to save scrolling through the whole thread
B) that Brits post their location as specifically as they feel confortable with (at least specify whether England, Scotland, Wales or Ireland)
C) Post a little bit about yourself, at least stating whether interested in meet-up or not (No commitment. Feel free to change your mind)
D) Members of other nationalities who visit Britain, now and then  and who might be interested in a meet up, add their name below . (to be listed seperately, to avoid confusion)
E) B, Cand D should be added to the OP.

For the record, my pasture is not in Holland, but in one of the other provinces of the Netherlands.

I just wanted to say with the meetup thing, I feel a bit odd meeting random people from a forum I don't participate on much. I would rather know more about the members, really. I appreciate all your efforts though.

I live in the Midlands, born in London.

Hmm, if we're doing percentages, i'm 50% Scottish, slightly Irish, slightly Dutch jewish , But i wasn't really after a pedigree, Trigger, just location *chuckle*; from which perspective this 12'5% English, 12.5% Scottish is slightly worrying. Where is the other 75% of you located ?

As I think I said elswhere, mobility issues would probably prevent me from getting to meet-ups. But if I organise one or two myself, i might be able work my round said issues.

Oh! PS. My grandparents on Dad's side were Cockneys but they don't really count, genetically, only culturally, cos Dad was adopted.

If anybody wants to get to know me, i should think I've made enough posts by now?
