Is Bernie Sanders REALLY going to go to The Democratic convention?

He says he still is.  180 degree turn from his entire narrative up to this point. The "People's Revolution" against the elitist establishment still has a chance of winning because the elitist establishment could change their minds and go against the will of the people.  It's muddled at best and pathological at worst.

Its quite a dance isn't it. The anti-Hillary sentiment is so high BUT she still won so...Bernie and President have a chat. President will endorse Hillary and give huge props to Bernie for being a good socialist and bringing Hillary further left.

But Hillary still needs his full support and to that end he has not capitulated but has said that he will work with Hillary to defeat trump. How? Well obviously through his support, his supporters will follow.

But Bernie wants to not just cave completely and like the FBI probe, Hillary wants it over and done with. So now, what will Bernie get in return for his complete endorsement? I think she will practically tell him anything to get him on side.

He WILL cave by next week I am sure. I doubt it will be a contested convention. He and she know he doesn't have the numbers nor will convince superdelegates to shift their allegiance from her. But it will be uncomfortable and messy and show a non-united party.

So if she promises him things, and by things, I mean adoption of policies and the like, will she stick with them? Absolutely...right until he endorses her and encourages his supporters to back her. Then she will dump them immediately.

That's consistent with the way the Clintons have always behaved, they are rank opportunists and can be trusted by no one. Even Christopher Hitchens wrote a book on how deceitful they are.
