I honestly can't remember.  I was searching the internet for something not really related and google listed a link to something on this board. 

I've posted on other aspie related boards before, but to be honest when I'm around other Aspies I feel like a shark in a tank full of gold fish.  I mean, those (other) Aspies are weird.  I start to torture them intellectually out of boredom after a while.  I looked at this board and you guys (and girls!) struck me as real.  I think you lot know when to mess about and when not to mess about, if you get what I mean.

I live just outside of a small village in Worcestershire, UK. 

I am a DBA for an American financial services company.  DBA stands for Database and then some word beginning with A.  Could be Admin or Analyst or something like that.  No one told me when I started the job and now it's been so long I daren't ask.  So I "admin" a database.  Or "analyse" one.  It's difficult to tell.

Kids, yes.  Eldest is 22 and has given me a grand kid already.  Several other male brood of varying sizes frequent the upper story of my house and shout for food regularly.  I am informed one of them is now a ladies hairdresser of some repute. The other is a small angry Asperger.

My Cat died.

My dog is Patterdale/Plummer cross and is the killer of rodents.  The rats in the nearby stables worship her as death and sacrifice their eldest and slowest to her.  She brings them to me as offerings.

You found a good place. Just about everybody here has been there and done that in regards to aspie forum drama. We've had our share of it and now people have mellowed in their old age.
