I can move both of my ears independently of eachother. I taught myself how to do it as a child.

I can do same with my eyes. Never practiced it; just discovered it one day.

Ocular dominance can go to either eye, but I can roll either one around, top, lower, Right Left, and maintain visual acuity with the one which stays focused.

I generally only do it to freak someone out. I have found no other use for such a talent.

I used to creep out my peers on a daily basis, before I learned soshul skillz.  :autism:

I find the world a much more amusing experience that way CBC, that is, if I devote as little time as possible to that kind of social processing, I more or less just let things run at subsistence level to keep my ass attached to the rest of me and let the :autism: beast run loose.

Yeah, I just need to up my game regarding the subsistence level.  As I age, I'm seeing
consequences of my neglect.  If I don't start taking better care of myself, I'm going to suffer.  :apondering:

I didn't mean subsistence level GENERALLY speaking.

I was referring specifically to wetware resources devoted to faking it and coming across NT-esque-ish...sometimes..kinda sort of.

I just make sure to keep enough gas flowing to that burner to keep the ashes in the fireplace from freezing over, and sufficient to both avoid someone tearing my head off and stuffing it up my arsehole, and to realize it if they are ABOUT to do same.

Otherwize, I let my spazz hang out. Its not so much my letting my inner autie OUT, as stopping any OUTER NT getting IN. Not that its much effort, I just have occasionally to hold back an accidental sugar coating on that which I speak, and strangle it in the cradle before it has time to squeal and shit all over itself.

Naturally I had to Google.  I think I have them too, just barely, or "intuitive."  I'm not quite sure.
Is yours "intuitive," "visible," or "pronounced"?  The "pronounced" kind looks like an elf ear, very cool!  :orly:

I have a small one on my right ear and a larger one on my left ear. Interesting. I never knew there was a name for that.

I never even gave it a thought.  Now I'm going to be checking out everyone's ears.  :nerdy:

Seen the new body modification trend of elf ears? Also cool, but some don't look so nice; that must be disappointing.

Just about where that should be, both The PR and I have a small slit/gouge in the rolled part of our left ear.  That's how I knew she was my child when I first saw her.

I also have a notch in my left upper ear. It's not natural, it's from an earring getting ripped out when I was a kid while brushing my hair. I usually wear my hair over my ears so it's not often noticed. I've been told it's sexy because it looks like a cat that's been in a fight, so whenever anyone ever happens to notice it and ask what happened, I always say, cat fight.   :zoinks:

Thank you, notch is the word I should have used.

QV-shouldn't the fact that after a roughly 9 month duration the PR popped out of..well..the obvious?

Generally, it means who, or whatever popped out, belongs to the owner of the parts in question:P

One time I read an article about a maternity ward study, and a large majority of mothers could recognize their newborn baby by sense of smell alone.  :orly:
