As it turns out, I got a better job. Epic treats many of their employees like shit, as it turns out.   ;)

I got a job at the top machine shop in central Oregon.

It's AS9100 certified, climate controlled and has a mist and fume extractor system on all of the machines.

It's clean enough to eat off of the floors and speaking of eating, they feed you lunch for free.

The second week I was there, our boss caught 2 huge salmon while fishing off the coast.    :boatfish:

He BBQ'ed them for lunch and we hald salmon that was fresh from the ocean that had been caught less than 24 hours earlier.   8)    8)    8)

I'm running a CNC machining cell.

It's 2 horizontal mills that are connected to an automated pallet changing system that's controlled at a central computer station.
