My youngest is the same.
The HATE is big enough to cause imminent overload now and then. And, due to that, they trigger anxiety.

Oh I agree. When a generation of teens have heroine junkies as their idols, it makes for some horrible trends. It's natural for current music to pave the road for fashion trends for the general public, but I once read somewhere that heroine chic was a bit of an accident in the world of high fashion. The models started showing up for photo shoots looking like strung out dirty emaciated shit, and photographers just rolled with it.

I don't think there's anything wrong with conforming to another culture when visiting that culture, and I think it's the respectful thing to do. More people probably get ticked off about foreigners trying to move in and impose their cultural standards.
