Are we really talking about ROOM temperature?

I think that any "first world" civilization should be able to control the the temperatures of a few rooms or so.

Mine right now, according to my really high-techy thermostat is seventy two degrees Fahrenheit. I like it that way. Live long and prosper, all of us.
It is about sixty something outside and I have enjoyed it immensely, but the sun is beating the hell out of anything that does not move, like our dark brown roof.

SO, I am using the air conditioning unit to make our house a bit more comfortable.

I do have heating, but no airconditioning. Will use a fan.

Hardly ever gets over 24ºC inside though. In winter in the mornings it may be 12ºC, but most of the times it is 14ºC then. My thermostat is set to 18ºC most of the times. Sometimes I change it to a bit higher in the evenings.

In the kitchen, the thermometer reads 14°C. It's a bit cool as I only have a t-shirt and pants on.

We have the temp setting to 81.  Since we have fans in most of the rooms, it's not bad at all.

25.01 for gas for the house (water heater, clothes dryer and stove/oven)
26.00 for water (billed EOM. this is the monthly amount, the minimum (5,000 gals/month).  includes trash, park support, etc)
27.13 for electricity (set at 81 degrees)
