What do most people think when they see others kissing?
i ask because i suspect my reaction is not common.
does it depend on who is kissing? so for example, if they see kissing in a cartoon does that have the same effect as kissing between two people in a movie? assume that all involved parties are in love or at least are lusting after each other.

I'm not into public displays of affection. I think they're yuck to be honest.

A lot of people do it to show possession instead of affection...I would prefer a cattle brand to the forehead myself.
ok, so my reaction is at least not unique. i don't mind seeing people holding hands or a quick peck on the face, but the longer it goes the more gross it seems.

People kissing is sweet; doesn't really matter who. Full on slobbery makout kissing is a awkward, but smoochey kissing is alright to be around.

when i was 10 or so i chipped a bone fragment out of my leg jumping over an iron fence. the fragment moved and now there is a slight bump. but recently i was not my best and the bone fragment stood out like a sharp little pyramid.

now it's gone again. i assume that i was badly dehydrated and didn't realize it? what else would cause that?

I know a couple of gardeners and it occurred to me to look into getting them interesting or unusual seeds.  I'd want to make sure they were suitable for the climates in which they live and also not dangerously alien/ecosystem-hurtful.  The internet had surprisingly little that looked good to me but I may not have been searching very well.  Any thoughts?

You win this thread because that's most unsettling to even think about.

First if your unsure of your zone:

The 3 big ones:
https://www.eburgess.com/324-seeds

http://www.burpee.com/

http://www.gurneys.com/category/flower-seeds-and-bulbs

I use eBay a lot anymore for seeds also and I've had great luck with everything I've bought so far, especially if I'm looking for something rare or hard to find.

The best way I've found to search about a particular plant is google...USDA has an invasive plant list but it's severely lacking...trumpet vine for example is very invasive here in Pa. (don't ask how I know that), but necessarily not so elsewhere...pampas grass, lily of the valley (invasive and pretty poisonous too), those are my big 3 I battle with trying to contain every year.

Just google the name of the plant, invasive and your state, that will tell you more than the USDA site ever will...plunk in the plant name and poisonous and that's a quick reference if they have small kids or a lot of plant chewing pets to worry about.

Another link to pass along:
http://www.wintersown.org/How_to_Winter_Sow.html

They also have a facebook group which I am a member of. Can't believe I've never done this before...and I have my containers lined up in the garage for this winter already.

Some of my favorites that I'm always planting seeds for:

4'oclocks
Astilbe
Columbine (lots of different varieties)
Morning glory
Marigolds
Petunia
Pansy
Lupines
Hollyhocks
Coneflowers

There are a ton of others, basically I'll plant anything I get my hands on that won't take over, and some that will to cover certain areas.

Actually the SO dubbed me the Icequeen, since I tend to lack empathy at times.

OhEmGee!! :aff: You completely freak me out every time you write something like this. :GA: I'm not even sure if you'd love or hate living with someone like me. I'd throw away all of your rotten food while you weren't looking and replace it with new food. It would either drive you crazy, or you'd never even notice and truly believe everything does last forever.  :lol1:

What do you like about Hillary?

I know I know Donald is a bit of a headcase. But that is not the question. It is not how is Donald bad or how bad is he.

What do you lie about Hillary?

The reason I ask is not a Gotcha thing but genuine curiosity. People tell me how she has great experience and knowledge but whilst I know she has BEEN in positions in the government, I dunno what things she has accomplished or succeeded in while she was there. I understand that Donald is bad, but this seems a point against him rather than a point for her.

I do not like her at all. Its not because she is a Democrat or a woman or Bill Clinton's wife. I just don't like her.

This did not help.

Just wondering what I am missing out on that other people see?
I2 today is not i2 of yesteryear. It is a knitting circle. Those that participate be they nice or asshats know their place and the price to be there. Odeon is the overlord

Think it is I2 of old? Even Odeon is not so delusional as to think otherwise. He may on occasionally pretend otherwise but his base is that knitting circle.

It's not a question of liking her, I don't really "like" her as a person, I just think she's the more qualified of the two.

She is cold, professional, and prepared.

Trump is a hot-headed, performance act who is a bit unprepared.

You have two people you don't trust, both are known liars, but unfortunately one of them has to hold the loaded gun...which one would you give it to?

The loud-mouth rich guy or the cold-hearted bitch that did her homework?

Unfortunately not, I asked already...you have kids, like me.  ;)

I was hoping for lightening to strike them both actually. :dunno:
