It's a no win situation Elle.

Men will not notice what you are wearing unless they are checking you out.

Most women will sit with their friends and talk about you no matter what you wear...unless they are secretly also checking you out.

A typical woman at a wedding:
"I wonder how much she paid for that?"
"That dress would have looked so much better if it was another color"
"Really...I think that's too low cut for a wedding"
"She looks like a nun, what was she thinking?"
"She looks like a ho, what was she thinking?"
"I think my boobs are bigger than hers"
"I have shoes just like that at home"
"Isn't this great, they look so much in love."

A typical man:
"I wish they would hurry this up already so I can eat and go home"
"Damn...I wish I didn't have to be here"
"Fools"

Get something you like, something loose enough that you can unzip or wiggle up or down if you need to pee, and something you won't freeze or roast in.
*nod*  As long as I can find something reasonable comfortable and I don't elicit the thought "wtf is that bitch wearing to MY WEDDING???" from one of my boyfriend's best friend's soon-to-be-wife, I'll be basically content.  And if I can find a way to also not look like shit, that'd be great.

The last wedding we went to (last March) was PA's grand niece.  Held at a "plantation" in the early evening.  The PR and I wore long cotton knit sleeveless dresses from Wal-mart (think what you'd wear to a beach) in solid colours.  Some guests showed up in t-shirts and jeans.  Most of the guests our age wore Easter Sunday outfits.

Actually never did it.

Should work like this though:
Find the post you want to quote and hit quote like you're going to reply to it. Copy down the code that appears in the box...and paste it in your signature box in your profile instead, just edit out what you don't want if you don't want the whole post.

is it ok to rehydrate dried cream cheese with water?

They don't recommend it, I don't think you'll get the same taste either.

Soft cheese is more of a food poisoning risk, I normally don't mess with it.
I keep mine in the foil until gone, overwraped with plastic, and then either in a storage container or ziploc.

Found several options and bought all of them (they all have other re-wear value) but I think the best one is a black-and-white print (the internet tells me that those two wrongs make a right); the internet also says pairing it with black shoes and a black cardigan is ideal, which is good because that is all of the shoes and all of the cardigan* I currently own.

I actually managed to get a female friend to come shopping with me and she said it doesn't look remotely bridal or upstage-y (none of them do, though another of the options would have to be altered a bit because it does a bit too fabulous a job of showcasing my cleavage as it currently is).

hmmm, survey says i should toss it - the survey of course being Py and Elle and IQ.
Forgot to say it's cream cheese spread - I didn't look when buying it and thought it was the real thing.
I have a new tub but it is plain so I will have to add the garlic and chives myself.
