Thanks for the welcome messages!
And yes, I'll try to keep posting. Thanks for the cookies, Pyraxis. And... for the cookies with eyes(?), Icequeen.
Do you have enough cookies for everyone?
But... I thought I was the one getting cookies
Welcome, etc. How did you find us?
Thank you, etc.
It was a dark autumn day. Heavy drops were falling from the sky and the wind was shaking the tree leaves. A dog was barking far away. I knew it was going to be a different day, I knew my life was going to change.
As I crossed the bridge, I spotted a fisherman crying. "Go away!” he told me. I picked a beautiful yellow flower and stepped towards him, very determinated to change that person's life. He shrank in fear, as if he had seen a monster. "Do not be afriad, old man! I come in peace.” He then turned away and I never saw him again. Sometimes I still miss his smile.
As I returned home, I felt the smell of burnt rubber. "Hi, Vi! Beautiful day, huh?" I heard half a dozen metres away. "Hi, Steve! Are you burning your truck's tires?” I asked, concerning the smell and black smoke. "Ahah, actually no, I'm barbecuing ass burgers! Do you want some?" he said. "Ass burgers?" I asked while opening my front door.
I had tried horse meat before. I was not quite sure if I enjoyed the flavor, since the meat was part of a very suspicious lasagna I bought in Spain, but maybe ass meat was something completely different. Concerned about this, I typed on bing "ass burgers", expecting to see some Ramsay review of the product.
What I found was way more disturbing. 3 months have passed and I still haven't replied to Steve. However, from the looks of it, I certainly want ass burgers.
TL;DR? Lord Zegh told me about it.
Thank you, Jack
And yes, my Lord Zegh
Methinks this is someone who already knows a few people here.
Yes, I met Jack while we were in Alaska fishing shrimps. Good times.
"Garbage can" cookies - made out of whatever is left from making Christmas cookies. One year it was coconut flakes, chocolate chips, butterscotch chips, pecans, mincemeat, raisins, etc.
Those sounds amazing! I've only messed with chocolate chip cookies. I should bake cookies more often.
