A sock puppet is a false account, usually a second or third, set up by a person at a forum to support their point of view. It used to be a fairly common trick that trolls used to polarize the membership and create drama over a certain issue.

Good to see someone from Australia, here. It seems that after UK goes to bed and California goes to bed, I'm all alone again. I'm in central fly-over country, USA, but I don't sleep at set times.  ::)

Who is GA? I don't know of him, by that abbrev. (BTW, I didn't think you were a sock puppet, asking what a sock puppet was.)

Sorry to  hear that, I had high hopes for OTS as an alternative to WP!  But then again, before I left, I had fears that it would degenerate into just another anti-wp forum!  Please tell me I'm wrong!!???
