If Israel blow up children and other innocents, what makes anyone think that a white flag will do anything?

The UN was set up after World War II to prevent atrocities like the ones committed in that war from ever happening again. Yet genocide is being committed and yet bugger all is being done.

If it can't fulfill it's original purpose, the very reason why it was set up to begin with then what is the point in having a UN?

I don't know.  The UN seems ineffective.  The picture of the white flag was included because it is so futile.
