Other nationalities often call the room that the toilet is in, the bathroom. "I need to go to the bathroom." Instead of, "I need to go to the toilet." Which is Australian. I guess I should have clarified that I needed to sweep the toilet floor.

The Dutch call that room the toilet, or the wc. So I got what you meant.
Talking about flushing toilets was irresistible though.
