And I shall leave you all with one bit of extremely useful wisdom:
DANGIT.
THIS was the wisdom:
What about being 6ft 2
Only seen three (other than professional athletes) taller than I am at five feet eleven, in my entire life.
I am a solid two hundred fifteen pounds (gone a little soft in the muscle departments of late, unfortunately - all that healing I have had to do and stuff), but I have seen many Asians who would outweigh me, despite my being Two Hands taller or more. Some of the more athletic Asians who impress me most are almost square (or rather extended cubicle or something) in stature, built like a stack of bricks, etc.
NO way to find a weakness. NO way to knock one down in a match. NO way to find anything to trip; every limb is so damn short there is no way to find leverage which is the key to most jui jitsu moves.
Five feet tall or whatever, these are very impressive people.
