favourites, by miles:

"the queen" - just brilliant: i was gobsmacked, cos i thought i'd hate it.
"moulin rouge" - top bananananana!  i love baz luhrmann, so had to rewatch...

Both excellent films. Particularly The Queen. Simply amazing.

Er, no. Most of it is unbelievably bad, too, but I've never liked Bergman. You're making assumptions about me.

watched "night on earth" earlier, and got a version without subtitles, sigh.  i was astonished at how much finnish i could work out.  wasn't actually much, but i got the gist of a couple of the conversations.  yay, me!
