Getting bored of watching US politics now.

I figure it will take about three months to fully switch over, but I'm so glad there's a new president to complain about. :woohoo:

Or just ignore. The last four years of American "politics" has been a shitshow like never before. This one might just do his job so people can focus on other things. Heck, even George W managed to just do his job every once in a while.

I think I do alright at ignoring it. I just get tired of hearing about the same person after a couple of years. People just like to complain about the president. It's like a national pastime. It's fun. :zoinks:

I'd prefer only having to complain about our politicians. You can keep yours.

I doubt US obsession will stop being other county's pastime just because Trump is gone.  :lol1:

It won't stop, but most of us will be happy to focus on other train wrecks for a change. :zoinks:

Seriously, though, I remember being amused by the apparent illiteracy of Bush Jr and pleased with the marked improvement when Obama took over, but with both of them, I had no problems ignoring the US unless the drama affected the rest of the world. We have our own problems to worry about, so feel free to keep yours.

To be honest, until The Orange Shit-Gibbon came along we only took notice of America when they bombed Arab wedding parties or their policemen publicly murdered black people.  The average Brit couldn't name the US Vice-President if you asked them in the street.

Hopefully by the next election we'll get back to those happy days.

Stumbled upon After Life with Ricky Gervais on Netflix. All in all, decent.

Finished After Life. Not bad but also not brilliant. Some brilliant moments, though.

Not sure what I want to watch next. Thinking about Discovery season 3 but I'm pretty sure I'll just hate it.

Discovery season 3 is actually my favourite so far and a lot of people have said the same. More adventure.

Michael Burnham whispering all the time was the only thing that irked me.

A lot of what Michael Burnham did in the first two seasons irked me.
