I generally like action movies or intellectually provocative or demanding series' or better yet just give me a fascinating documentary to watch, but my wife has become addicted to "Grey's Anatomy." We had never seen it before, but we now use Netflix and all of this series is there.
I kind of like the random philosophical questions at the beginning of each episode and the culminating "moral to the story" at the end of each episode. That is not really a unique writing device, but I think it is carried out fairly well in this series. I have, found myself shaking my head and enjoying many of the episodes.
