Just yesterday a fb-buddy asked openly on his page, for any donation to help him get back home, after having been dumped during an abroad visit (jeez... ), he assured everyone humble he would pay them back, he just didn't feel like staying stranded on a foreign continent
Sounds like a scam email seen before. You know that guy?

I have very few people on my fb, and yes I know both him and his gf (she was sortof an ex of mine, years ago), and she is indeed a very abrupt dumper :D Although, she let me off easyer than that poor bastard, but that was probably because I could "smell it in the air", that things had changed. As soon as I brought it up, she told me it was over. I'm imagining he either never brought it up, or unfortunately noticed it while visiting her :D

Why would that make you feel guilty?

For no rational reason I can think of.

Maybe it wasn't guilt.

Doesn't sound like a mystery to me. Odeon felt guilty cus the message seemed like someone begging him for money again.

Rationally, someone wouldn't beg twice, meaning it would be as if he hadn't donated anything to begin with. He felt guilty about not having donated (despite having donated)

Or something like that anyway

That's pretty much it, yes.
