Can't you guys even just imagine it?

Forget practicality, or your experience....can you just....imagine?

It's there. It always was.

Another shot at the masculine and praise for the feminine. The social engineers have wormed into society quite far. If there is a noise outside the men will still be expected to "man up". If there is a female partner at danger, the man will still be expected to handle it. But let's devalue these same traits until we want them to have it al along.

I2 today is not i2 of yesteryear. It is a knitting circle. Those that participate be they nice or asshats know their place and the price to be there. Odeon is the overlord

.Benevolent if you toe the line.

Think it is I2 of old? Even Odeon is not so delusional as to think otherwise. He may on occasionally pretend otherwise but his base is that knitting circle.

Being encouraged to fight when it was needed when I was young came on handy more often than not. I have given ass whippings and been given ass whippings but the willingness to fight also prevents shit from happening. By the time I got to high school I had exactly 1 fight* in 10th grade with Mike L. about 2 months into my sophomore year and that was it.

*I threw the first punch in that instance instead of carrying on with verbal bs. I also got my property back.

Females should be raised to know how to man up too.

:agreed: I have seen what happens when a female who knows hair pulling and finger nail scratches squares off with one who knows punches, kicks, sweeps etc. Furthermore while some rapists are tough many are pussies who run after a trained woman bloodies their nose. Allowing criminal scum to gain a position of more control and isolation and then hoping for the best is not a good idea IMO.

Absolutely agree.

Learned helplessness is something that is taught to a lot of females and I think that for all the reasons it was taught (which for the most part were good) it is outmoded. I think girls ought to learn obligations, accountability and responsibility and to be independent.
Many are not. Many are convinced that men are the doers /pursuers/providers and they are done for (to)/pursued/provided for. With this mindset they are limited in how independent and how much growth can be achieved.
Fighting too, I think at very least an adept understanding of how to punch and block, is a minimum any Father ought to teach his daughter.

Totally, bro. I'm SO sick of social engineering.

I'm pretty much a clueless man.  I'll stand up when the time is all wrong.  Fortunately I've never suffered any bad repercussions.

I'm learning to let PA do the guy stuff.

Honestly it depends on the individual, and not what is between their legs when shit hits the fan. I've known a few girls that could throw a hell of a punch. I've also known several dudes that didn't know ANYTHING about guy stuff. This one dude in the army in particular. He wasn't gay or even particularly effeminate, but he had absolutely no skill whatsoever when it came to maintaining things around his house, he'd never been hunting, never held a gun before basic, and he fought like a schoolgirl. I remember the first time he called me because his porchlight went out. Said it "wouldn't light". I was like wtf man are you my mother?

I mean really, guys. We're all different, and that's what makes the world an interesting and challenging place to live in. Would anyone here have it any other way? I wouldn't.

I am wondering what, in consideration of all this, what the point that SG1008 was making? Was it along these lines?

Is it ironic that sg1008 is posting on "manning up"? :orly:
