Good point, but you can see what i'm saying. Feminists would rather have their way, than stop people from being in danger needlessly.

What do the feminists want?

Quote from: the first article
In most other sports, this would be enough to get you sidelined. A problem with cheerleading, though—and a reason that the injury rate is so high—is that there are no alternates or second-string players around to step in on most teams. And without every member present, a squad can't perform. Therefore, girls are encouraged to compete injured in the name of "teamwork," immobilizing wrists and ankles and backs with braces and tape before they hit the floor, playing through their pain.

This seems rather relevant. Why are there no alternates? Cirque du Soleil acrobats have alternates.

I was waiting for you to ask me that question. I'll let the data speak for itself. You're more than smart enough to understand things without an explanation.

Understand that title 9 or whatever makes it more difficult for parents of cheerleaders and the girls themselves to get the necessary training they need to safeguard them from injury? I didn't get to feminism, did I? Here we go. Heres what they have to say about it.

And here is another way of looking at it.

Oh yeah, proof that most title 9 proponents are feminists:

I have a theory as to why feminists push on this so hard, too. Its sort of bout social engineering what they think is equality in a sociopathic way, disregarding whether or not millions of other females might like the things they hate. And that's bad, yes. But I think there is also a money interest to this, which ties into this question:

The lack of training which would teach the good sense to do things like what you just asked is only barely paid for by the state, and here is how they train coaches:

Yeah. I won't get into the money issue though unless anyone is interested, since I can't find any evidence for it except the existence of varsity, and the HUGE prices parents have to pay for competitive cheerleading, and a few other things.

Anyway. That's my two cents. Tell me what you think.
