Peter, I don't think you're alone, either, but you may be an extreme case. I respond and take pleasure normally I think at first, but I also get really sore from the tissues being stretched too far and for too long, especially the glans.
I have also had mind over matter abilities at times, where the knowlege that she still wants to fuck and she wants to FUCK ME (!!) was deeply pleasurable (emotionally) and enough of a mental turn on that the pain and lack of physical pleasure was offset almost completely, by the satisfaction of bringing her such great pleasure. That rarely happens the first time, though. It is usually from an extended, continous session and my second or third climax may never happen, sometimes. I still think that's normal, though. It certainly is normal for me.
