Throwing out the Trash

My trash day is tomorrow as well. Both regular and recycling bins go out to the kerb.

  I'm going to have at least one bag of trash this week, plus a full recycling bin.

No trash or garbage pick up this Tuesday, Mardi Gras.  Garbage on Friday as usual, garbage and trash will be picked up March 7.

  It's a little after 5 a.m. and it's trash day.  I have to fill a second bag!

Put out regular and recycling bins - the recycling bin was full while the regular bin was only a third full.

  Just got rid of two (smallish) bags of trash, and put out a bin full to the top with recycling!

No garbage, trash or recycling pick-up today.  It's Mardi Gras time!

  So tomorrow the city's trash will be laden with beads and leftover crawfish?

  Just hauled out a BIG heavy bag of trash.  No recycling this week, too little in the bin to justify
  making an extra trip downstairs.  But I did get rid of a nuisance in my hallway.  I don't even know
  what it is, looks like it might be a door of some kind, there are three hingelike things on one side. 
  It's like a big-ass surfboard with hinges.  Anyway, it's been leaned against the wall right outside
  my front door for over two years and it had to go, so I hauled it through my apartment,
  down the stairs to the laundry room, and laid it on the floor, hinges up.  No harm, no foul. 
  The landlord won't care.  The laundry room is a dumping ground anyway.
