I have hardly any trash to throw away this week, nowhere near enough to fill even a small bag.  :apondering:

Your frugality must be paying off. :prude:

It is!  I now realize that much of my weekly trash consisted of paper towels!  :orly:

You could burn those, and have even less trash.

I use almost no paper towels these days, I use cloth instead.  8)

My bag of trash, bag of paper and recycling bin are all by the door, ready to go out in the morning.  8)

I threw out two bags of trash yesterday, and am beginning to fill the next Lysol-scented bag
to throw out next week!  I love to see a completed bag of trash waiting on the floor for trash day.  :2thumbsup:

Wheeled 3 bags out in the little wagon I trash picked last fall.

So someone else's trash has now become ... the trash conveyor!  :orly:

I took out two bags of trash today, plus a bag full of paper and cardboard, and my recycling bin.
I predict that next trash day will be the best of the year!  I'm on it!  Throw that shit away! :pirate:

Just noticed the date on that post...3 years later and I'm still using that little Lil' tikes wagon to haul out the trash. I've even hauled bricks and cinder blocks in that damn thing :o

Lil' tikes needs to branch out and make some big garden carts, those damn things never last.

I need to invent one with an emergency brake so it stays on a hill.  :zoinks:

My town just switched to the giant bins on wheels that the truck picks up without the driver having to get out.  I wasn't to sure about it at first but I have come to find I can get rid of a lot of my work garbage that they used to refuse to take if I mix it in properly with the household stuff

One of my neighbors put trash out in generic store-brand bags instead of the official city bags.
They're still there.  The city won't pick up non-regulation bags.  Clue in, neighbors!  :soapbox:

Official city approved bags :zombiefuck:  What are they sold by the mayors uncle or something?  They don't care about the bags just the can here,  they used to not like the big black bags because they thought you were hiding something they won't take.  I put the stuff they bitch about in one of them now then fill it the rest of the way with white kitchen bags filled with regular trash

I think it's a way of raising revenue, like a tax to pay for the service.  You can buy them at most stores.  :P

Everyone just uses the black bags around here, crows will tear apart the white ones and the cans end up nailed by frack trucks or the snowplows on my route.
