When the movers robbed our house I lost many things to which I was attached; most of them were not quite weird, but they were my friends. Some were stolen and because searching for things to steal made them run late, they rushed to pack and many other things were broken, like my collection of lamps salvaged from other people's trash. They broke three of those, and also broke two of my collection of reachers - those things that grab things off shelves. One was a folding model and they broke it at the brace. M favorite shoes vanished as well as the elaborate electrical system I set up to compensate for the lack of outlets in the house. They stole one of my collection of briefcases - to transport things, I guess.
For some reason they were not interested in my collection of dried fruit - whole lemons and oranges that got dehydrated in my house in MA. Though they took my body glove t-shirts they were not interested in my vast collection of socks, nor were they interested in my collection of ice cube trays.
Actually I have a lot more collections, but since I am dehoarding I am trying to forget them. If you remember me from long ago, that was when the skin flake and scab collection went. Never knew they were weird until autistic people said so....
