Unfortunately, I was unable to get AFF back even as a temporary measure to close it out.

If G&A want to shut down the whole thing over the actions of a couple of people and a misperceived slight from a few others , there's nothing I can do about it.

I have zero interest in IRC, and I'd bet real money that that goes for 95% of the active users at the end. So, fuck it, I quit. Stick a fork in me, I'm done. It was fun whilst it lasted.

No, I genuinely cannot be fucked. I spent 8 years on AFF and I really, really can't muster up enough of a damn to get settled on another forum. I certainly don't want to run another one - I had AFF running just so, proper transparency, proper procedures for banning, proper logging...all gone.

The donation money went straight to the provider as account credit.
