This is hilarious, when a nanny state law in the UK is in place with the premise of "protect the children", a fair amount of Brits (they know who they are) submit to it. However, try to take porn away, those same people go insane. Ban all the fun adult things you want and get away with it, but don't you dare touch their porn. No, no it's not, really.  Not at what it costs vs. what it provides, depending.

The education itself I mean

I wouldn't say going to university and paying your fees etc is always a good thing

The way things are going, I'd probably advise my brothers against it, depending on whether they were working towards a specific career or not

Education itself is always a good thing tho (that includes self education)

(as a very broad/generalized statement that deserves all sorts of qualifiers I don't have time to give it):  Assuming it's legitimately education, and not some kind of brainwashing, then yes. 

Like most "humanities" credits.
