  We were supposed to have thunderstorms here, to break up the heat.  Where are they?

At the moment it is 27ºC. It's 9 pm. So, it was a pretty warm day today. Sunny too, and the air is not moving.

Time for parasols and the inflatable pool.

I saw the tips of the ferns in my garden move an inch or so. And, I felt the thought of some wind on my arms. The evening is now bringing some airflow here too. Time to throw all windows upstairs open, to make sleep an option, later tonight.

A closed window means no sleep indeed. Well, I do fall asleep, with the window closed, but I wake gasping for air, when I do that. So, it's always open, unless there is a cold, thin, strong wind aimed straight at the window. Then the ventilation rosters will be enough for that night.
