Fuck. I hope it ain't too bad.
I'd take the snow with open arms, I don't have a scooter so I don't have to worry. 
No lasting damage, but some icky blood. I was going really slow because the roud was icy, and the bike just slid away and landed on my leg. The worst thing was that after I fell I realized it was too dangerous to drive on ice and had to push it the mile or so home.
The really funny thing is I only took the bike to prove everyone wrong. They said it was too dangerous to drive a bike in those conditions and I should take the car. I was going to take the car until they said that. I looked like a total retard when I staggered in half dead from pushing the bike, and my leg covered in blood.
I certainly proved a point. Sadly. not the one I wanted to prove.
