I lost count of tornadoes in my teens when I lived in Texas.
(One really intense time - I actually drove a Belgian made, Silver Eagle bus right up into one and it spat out the bus, but it gobbled up the Toyota that was passing our band bus. I saw the Toyota go straight up into the twisting winds and disappear in the foam. Long story/short = we found the Toyota about a mile up the road about five hundred yards away from the road, upside down, looking like crinkled foil, the tires were gone and the people were not hurt. They could not get out of the car, but they were not hurt, except for bruises and such. I could not have stopped that fucking bus in less than a quarter of a mile at the speed that I was traveling, but the tornado immediately stopped the bus and sent it backward at nearly the same speed we had been traveling. It was very unnerving!!)
