That one sounds too much like a mix of North Eastern and Southern accents to me, it drives me nuts. I guess it's the French acadian influence that does it. That accent, the extreme Elmer Fudd New England accent and Southern Californians calling Highway 10, The 10, drives me nuts. Most of the time I don't let language use bother me, though I don't use the word presently in place of at present, to use one example.
