Looks like the sun is going down...AGAIN.
Why the fuck can't it just stay bright out for more than
a 12 hours, or so? I mean, is it too much to ask
for a couple straight days?

Or night. I just can't handle all this fucking change.

Move to the Arctic.

I wanted to.  :-\

I'd prefer somewhere further south with a continental climate, but high up so that it would be cool.  The days would be more even that way, there would be less rain, the winters would actually have snow and ice and the summers would actually be sunny.

cold as fuck, low teens for a high, windy, but sunny. Most of the snow has blown away.

Cold enough to freeze the balls off a brass monkey, bright and frosty. This is the winter weather I always pine for when its muggy and horrible in the summer time.  8)

Well, it's official, here: what we have now is actually not part of ANY season. None of the criteria matches. :P

Your sun moved?

How handy that would be!

Apparently, summer/autumn/winter/spring weather are all defined by meteorologists with average temperatures over a set period of time, usually a week. It seems that there are gaps between these definitions. It's too warm for winter and too cold for spring. ;D

It's dull and rainy here.  We had a little sunny/frosty spell over the past week, but it wasn't particularly sunny or particularly frosty.

Yup.
Anal statisticians, they seem to be.

Our locals are beside themselves with similar issues, but we have been getting three seasons in a two day stretch, here.

This Sunday it was in the mid sixties (17.7C) and Monday night it was six degrees (-14C).

This past week has been really nice, temperatures 26 - 28C maximum. Cool enough at night to be able to sleep.

There is a cyclone up north and I am wondering what effect it will have on us in the next few days.
