I just did research. I was amazed! It is sixty nine outside. The all time highest temperature for any day in the month of January is seventy one degrees, Fahrenheit.
We often get a warm up after a very cold spell, but this is like May afternoons, not January afternoons. Touching into the sixty degree mark is not uncommon, though (the record for this day is sixty four, set in 1907!), but near seventy is practically unheard of.
