About like that yesterday, but today it is stormy and barely over seventy five degrees Fahrenheit, just after noon.

Clear at the moment, but more showing on the radar headed our way.

More snowballs this morning, and I learned that the frost on my wife's car is a lot cleaner than the frost on my car. Snowballs from my wife's car are white, from my car are grey. It's not real snow, of course, but overnight frost that has started to soften up around 7:30 am or 8:00 am.

I made one and lobbed it at my daughter in the shower. She left the door slightly open so I just stuck my hand in and lobbed the snowball in the general direction of where she would have been standing in the shower and I heard a scream so I knew it must have been a good shot.

5 minutes later she was taking too long in the shower so I got her again. Heard the scream and the "DADDDDDEEEEEE!!!!!" so I knew I was on target.

Hopefully by tonight she will have seen the funny side.

I think that's really it for this winter, I will be very surprised if we get any more frost.

Where we live is in a bit of a gully and the cold air settles in there. Most houses in our suburb almost never get frost, while for us we get some really strong frosts on a regular basis in winter.

12 C now, which is the predicted maximum. That is very cold for Sydney. And it's raining. So the cold weather is a worthwhile trade off.

Tropical Storm Gordon is going to affect us late Tuesday night.  I've got a few batteries and candles (not enough).  I need to make sure all the cell phones and the Kindle are fully charged.

*sends QV and the PR a big supply of  snuggles and well wishes, that if any surplus left over, never expire, although fresh ones are always freely given :) )

I hope you get through it as cleanly as possible.  Would it help to move all the electronics upstairs? and take batteries out of things, shut off lower floor mains outlet plug sockets to 'off' etc. ?  To ensure anything with a charged battery in it doesn't corrode and short and die etc.
