Two degrees below zero Farenheit. It's supposed to get to eight above, today, but it had better hurry ... the sun has be shining brightly all day and it's almost at midday, but it's still below zero and the wind is blowing like hell out of the north. No snow, except a dusting.

Today started frosty and foggy at 0C/32F, now watery sunshine, has been bright all afternoon, and 9C/48F.

Still six below zero, now. Supposed to warm up to ten degrees Farenheit, later today and maybe snow tomorrow. Wind is back with a vengeance - wind chill is twenty six below. I'm not going out!

It's somewhat foggy on the shore of Puget Sound. Brisk, but not frigid.

And there's something in the air I can't quite put my finger on. :-\
