Had 9mm of rain early this evening. Now it's muggy and overcast. When is autumn starting? ::)

Oooh, actual rain is forecast for the 10th April. We'll just see.
Now they've taken it back. No rain for at least the next week and a half.

Rain just starting here.  Depending upon which weather person we watch the upcoming snow totals could be 3-6, 6-12, or 12-18 inches, Aka, SNOWPOCALYPSE!  Current temp is about 44 F and a bit of wind.  My Attitude so far this winter has been, "I'll believe it when I see it."   ::) 8)

We've been getting good long consistant rains here for almost a week. Some wind at times and big patches of wet snowflakes, but nothing to show for it.
Only barely freezing a few nights.

Spring weather.

Snowpocalypse happening now.  12+ inches of wet, heavy, slushy snow.  Hard to accurately measure, due to the snow compacting because of the moisture content and high wind.  Been out twice to shovel, had to change my clothes both times to to getting soaking wet from the sideways blowing snow.  On the plus side, we haven't lost power.......yet.  Unlike the 166,000+ people around NH.   :(  And I got my exercise for the day.

April is truly the cruelest month.

Flooding, the river is high, might or might not see some local flooding from that, but most of it has been from run off and lack of preventive maintenance to the drains, culverts....etc. Library a few businesses flooded a couple nights back from it. A couple of mudslides, trees down. Someone's garage on the high cliff above creek in the park is ready to take a dive. Hail today so far, more rain. I'm high on the hill above it. Didn't drive down to the river today, but it was pretty ugly and fast yesterday.

Rain. 200mm since it started yesterday, though not enough to cause significant drama.

Supposed to get to 33°C here tomorrow (Sunday). Yep, I'm wondering when Autumn is starting here, too.

Got enough of a break in the rain to get mowing and weed whacking done after the eclipse.

Enjoyed the Total Eclipse immensely. Sat on our back patio with the whole family for a couple of hours.
I had seen another totality once before and many partial eclipses, but the POT can be quite impactful.

Any time there is an interesting astronomical phenomenon, Indiana is usually clouded over. I can think of a couple of recent comets and a couple of yearly late summer meteor showers that I've missed due to weather patterns in the area.

Yesterday at around 5PM the rain came on again and has not stopped since. Only been out once, but the river looks GOOD!
Not much electricity with this batch. I only heard far off thunder pillow fights most of the night. No lightening close by.
