15.4°C and partly cloudy at 11:45am. The forecast is for a late shower. I have washing to do but I think I'll hang it up on the indoor clothes airer.

We've had two really heavy down pours of rain today. First one had some wind and lightning, lots of thunder.
About two hours later it just came down gently, but for almost two hours.

We really needed this rain!

Summer, but some rain is on the way. It has begun to cloud up rather severely. I believe the rain is coming this time.

Most of the time when there is rain in the local forecast, the time passes and the chance of rain decreases as the day comes and goes.

Not stormy, but we definitely got a good deal of rain overnight and it seems like the rain will be hanging around through midday. Maybe later.

Very summer like! The humidity is way high, too.  And now the northern weather patterns have changed again and brought the Canadian wildfire smoke back to the central Midwest.

I walk by my AC unit and I can hear the water dripping down the drain from all the humidity in the air.
Yeah, it's hot, but not really that bad; about like a normal summer day here.

It is the smoke that is the main problem.

Also the rain chances keep decreasing and eventually they're gone for the day. Maybe tomorrow we'll get some rain.
