I believe that QV is in the deep south. Warm spells likely even in winter, depending on the weather patterns. More like Brisbane than Melbourne I would hazard a guess.

Near New Orleans I think.

Would you believe it's been raining overnight here. Lucky I took the washing I need for today off the line at 3am when I saw what was on the radar (I just happened to be awake). Woke up to the smell of rain.

22.4°C and cloudy at 8am.

Don't know the temperature but cool enough for a lot of people to be wearing light jackets this morning.

Heavy rain since yesterday. It's wonderful. It is the first decent rain we've had in many months.

Interesting weather. Just below freezing and a mix of sleet and snow falling.
Already more than an inch or so. Kind of pretty.

Rainy, +7C. Apparently we haven't had an official winter yet - when the average daily temperatures fall below zero for five or more days in a row. They say it might not happen at all this year.

There are some cooler days ahead, supposed to only get to 25°C on Tuesday.
