We are about ten or more degrees Fahrenheit above an average January day and the rain is now just a drizzle. Flood conditions near the big rivers. Surprisingly, there is still a lot of snow everywhere, even though there is a scalloped edge to it all.
Just the fact that there is so much still piled up after so many hours of constant rain seems odd.
Lots more winter in the weekly forecast, however. It is predicted to be around -2F/-19C tomorrow night with more snow on the way.
I will have to manage my expectations. It is still January in Indiana.
