Ew, yeah. Way too hot.
Here it is getting cold, not sure of the temperature exactly, but first frosts are here, that I've noted at least. I am hoping that an experiment I have in the garden will be alright for the next couple of days, before I can deal with it. There is a still arrangement thats got the joints seized due to whats in there working its way into the ground glass surfaces. But not something I want to deal with inside particularly either, because the contents of the receiver are extraordinarily corrosive, volatile and rather toxic, not something one wants to inhale in the least and I shudder to think what it would do in case of skin contact. Burn halfway to china probably leaving acid in its wake.)
Will deal with it monday certainly, because the other half is a chlorine generator, and there's a column full of iodine in between. The H2O content of the Cl2 generator is the concern, not the nasty half, if it freezes it could crack the flask. Should be alright for a couple of days of frost though since there's a very high content of salts in the water which ought to depress the freezing point. I hope.
