Feels hot (but that says more about me then.... ), the temperature is p/m 25C (at 16h40) and ja, it's pretty sunny here.

3 to 5 inches of rain on how much time?

Have seen 4 inches of rain within an hour two or three times in my life I think. Thought it impressive. If it takes all day, it's just very wet.

Can't imagine the amounts they were foretelling for Texas. 35 inches? If that would fall here in the polder, on the whole surface of the polder, it would take weeks and weeks to get it all dry again.

We may not even see that much now that Harvey is stalled.  The rain is predicted to be for the next week until Harvey decides to move his lazy ass.  It certainly is a nightmare for Texas.

About 1 p.m. we had our first rain squall from Harvey.  Pretty decent rain and only lasted for about 30 minutes.  Nothing since then.
