Lol, I thought I'd be the only one who actually doesn't think stale donuts not worth eating. Although the actual chances of a donut coming within my sphere of influence, and ever leaving it again in one [undigested] piece, are very slim indeed, I'll quite happily scarf an entire pack to myself, more than one, if I'm really hungry.

PA prefers stale cake doughnuts.  It's annoying to pay full price for something to get stale before he'll eat it.

Minutes from my childhood home, there used to be a Wonder Thrift Store.  It sold day-old Wonder
bread and Hostess cakes and such.  You would have loved it.  It's out of business now.  :-\

Ours went out of business after Katrina.  When I audited an agency in Eastern New Orleans there was a doughnut shop that sold bagged stale doughnuts.  I would buy a bag of cinnamon sugar cake doughnuts and make bread pudding with them.

I shopped at a different supermarket yesterday, and their layout made no sense to me.  :'(

The layouts should be standardised so we don't have to look for the things we need! :arrr:

No, no, no, no.  A thousand times no.  I like picking out my produce and meat.  I wouldn't even trust PA to do that.
