I think the mama cat puts gentle pressure on the kitten's bladder when it licks to stimulate urination.  Kittens don't usually poop until much older and they are weaned.

Aw, cute kitten.  :thumbup:  You shouldn't have problem socializing a cat that young. 

How about Barnacle?  Kinda goes with Urchin.

I thought my cat was pregnant a while back.  Her belly grew very quickly during the first few weeks after we adopted her.  Turned out she was just chubbin' out.  :laugh:

My family's cat is going to be 5 years old around October or so... We adopted him when it just turned 4.
