Okay, So I wont list my Fav but I'd like to know what your favorites are?

I'm also pretty fond of Tourmaline, Amethyst.

Nephrite jade. I brought my dad a necklace with some Maori mythology symbol and myself a whalebone amulet and I sort of wish I would have gotten myself Nephrite. I did tell my dad that I am in no hurry but when he exits I want that necklace. He is cool with that.

Amber and Jade are both really cool. I like them aswell, Parts did you know that Amber comes in all kinds of colors? I've seen green amber

And Cassanova Jade is one of my favorites too. you have to be carful buying it though, a lot of treated stuff is on the market.
But I don't think too many people treat nephrite. its the jadeite that gets the bulk of the treatment

Sheer cussedness makes me like my birthstone, the peridot.



When I was growing up that was the only birthstone for August.  Now there is the option of the sardonyx.  Which is brown and I don't like brown.

Amber, Black Tourmaline, Amethyst, Yellow Citrine, Bloodstone, Opal, Fire Agates, Sunstone, Clear & Rutilated Quartz, Hematite.

At some point I may bite the bullet and get a 20+ carat stone of gem quality. Fire Agate really is nice.

My mother has plenty gemstones, as a kid I also had plenty, but I left nearly everything I own when I moved out.

these were favorites, and one such was a "lucky stone". I was a weird kid.
