One of Alan John Miller's followers is a British woman Louise "Luli" Faver, aged 39, a former neuroscientist who gave up her career to be closer to Miller's home near the small town of Kingaroy in the state of Queensland, SkyNews reported on Wednesday. Miller runs the religious movement, which he calls Divine Truth, from the home.
"It's just nice to instead of being surrounded by people who think you are nuts, to be surrounded by people who understand what you are going through and the difficulties of trying to deal with all the emotional stuff," Faver told the broadcaster.
Dozens of other people have reportedly bought properties in the area to be closer to Miller.
According to the report, Miller denies he started the movement to make money, saying instead that "donations are welcome but not mandatory".
In a 2011 report, the divorced father of two said his first marriage broke down because he started having memories of his 'incarnation'.
The MailOnline report cited a recording in which Miller reportedly says:"There's probably a million people who say they're Jesus and most of them are in asylums. But one of us has to be. How do I know I am? Because I remember everything about my life."
Miller also claims that his partner, Mary Luck, is Mary Magdalene, who is considered by some as the second most important woman in the New Testament after Mary, the mother of Jesus.
